When entering our prom dress shop, you will find that each style is completely unique. We only sell one of the same style prom gown per school, this includes not selling that same style in another colour.

We keep a log of every school and dress sold. Our goal is to make you feel completely unique, stand out from the crowd and not forgetting that amazing wow factor that makes you say, “yes to the dress”.

Why should I shop local in Essex for my prom dress?

Every girl wants to avoid that dreaded moment of making their grand entrance to Prom only to see another girl wearing the exact same dress as you!! This can be easily avoided. Yes, every shop does state that they have exclusivity over their gowns, but this could mean anything from a 10-mile radius. If you choose to travel outside of your local area there is a much higher risk of your dress being sold to another girl from your school by a local shop.

Do you keep a log of every dress that is sold?

Yes, a log of every school and dress sold is carefully logged. We can assure you that only one of the same style will be sold per school, this also includes not selling the same style gown in another colour.

How much does a prom dress at Krystalls cost?

This varies for each designer; we try to keep all our gowns as reasonably priced as we can. Krystalls Boutique only use designers and not own branded gowns, so they are the best quality. We have a number of one off sale gowns that are priced £100 - £300. We also offer a couture range of prom dresses from £350 - £595.

Should I have an idea of what style to go for and choose my colour before my appointment?

The same question is asked time and time again. Most girls will turn up to their appointment at our Essex shop and have a certain colour in mind only to find that the colour does not suit their skin tone. There is then a big panic because the dress that she has now fallen in love with is the colour that her friend said that they wanted. DO NOT claim your dress colour before you have tried the dresses on. Year after year this happens, the girls are then panicking because they do not want to upset their friend. Go openminded into your appointment, try on as many different styles and designs possible, try every colour against your skin tone to see what colours make you looked washed out against the colours that will make you glow. 90% of our appointments end up ordering their prom gown that was completely different to what they had in mind.

Is Krystalls Boutique only for Essex customers, or do you serve Kent, London and further afield?

While our prom shop is located in Leigh-on-Sea, Essex (SS9 2QG), we happily serve customers from across Kent, London, and the UK! Many prom-goers visit us from nearby areas like Romford, Dartford, and Greenwich. Book an appointment today—we’ll help you find your dream dress!

What does 1:1 appointment mean?

One-to-one appointments at Krystalls Boutique means that you and your parent/guardian will get the full attention from our staff. We have four changing rooms at our shop.

Krystalls Boutique – Prom Appointment Policy

We charge a £10 fee for prom appointments. If you cancel within 48 hours of your appointment, your deposit will be refunded to your card. Should you find “the one”, your £10 will be deducted from the total cost of your dress

How long does my prom dress take to arrive?

Please note: Dresses that need to be ordered can take anywhere from 4 weeks to 6 months to arrive.
However, there’s no need to worry — in our 13 years of trading at Krystalls Boutique, we’ve never let a customer down. A member of our team will contact you as soon as your prom dress arrives and will arrange a final fitting with you.

Do you serve customers outside Leigh-on-Sea?

Yes! While our boutique is based in Leigh-on-Sea, we regularly welcome customers from Rayleigh, Chelmsford, Basildon, Wickford, Great Baddow, Brentwood, Billericay, Grays and Hornchurch looking for the perfect prom dress.

How do I pay for my prom dress?

When you order your dress, we take 50% of the cost of the dress and then you pay the remaining balance on your final fitting when you collect. We take all major debit and credit cards, bank transfers or cash.
